MAYAN CALENDAR & HUMAN DNA I – DARK RIFT RADIATION & 2012 – 3

Maurice M.Cotterell in The Mayan Chronicles (1995), co-authored with Adrian G.Gilbert, explored unconventional and alternative research into the effects of solar radiation and solar magnetic influences. Using Mayan mathematics and their complex calendar, Cotterell explored research carried out by a number of scholars on the cyclical activities of the sun and Earth and their correlation to known climatic and population changes in the recent ten thousand years. The last ice-age came to an end about 12000 years ago. Massive flooding (and the advent of the wet) resulted from the extraordinarily rapid melting of the vast glaciers and ice-caps. Ocean levels rose hundreds of feet within a few years. No doubt, the flood myths that every old culture retained were stimulated by these comparatively recent disasters. This period of change was not different to many others in the last two million years of the Pleistocene, but its effects were being imposed on a different kind of mankind. No wonder the last 35000 years have been the most eventful in our descent, if already anatomically modern mankind 167 had been bombarded by cosmic radiation. The mutations had not changed the skeletons and general anatomy of humans, but it had affected their brains. Inside their brains lurked a different kind of mind. Many speculations about these millennia could be sharpened into focus. Archaeologist Marion Popenoe Hatch excavated the Olmec site of La Venta, in the Tabasco province, at the beginning

2012 and the Mayan Calendar: Doomsday Approaches?

2012 and the Mayan Calendar: Doomsday Approaches?

To know the meaning behind the Mayan calendar and its connection to the year 2012, let’s start with some facts. The ancient Maya settlements were believed to have been established in 1800BC and they developed a sophisticated culture that included agriculture, astronomy and art.

According to their Long Count Calendar, each day was called a K’in and every 20 K’in is a Winal. Their counting system reaches the largest factor which is the b’ak’tun. Scholars have identified the first day of the long calendar as August 11, 3114 BCE and the very last in this 5,125 year cycle as December 21, 2012.

This is why people are worried that the world will end on this day. But does the end of the Mayan Calendar signify the end?

Some Mayan experts posit that the date is the start of a spiritual reawakening for humanity, that the beginning of the new age will renew the whole world. Meanwhile some think that December 2012 will bring about major natural catastrophes because of the “galactic alignment” that will happen during that period.

Even in religious texts there is reference to Judgement Day or the Day of the Resurrection. Christians believe that when Jesus Christ comes to the Earth again, it will mean the end of the world. While in Judaism, the Messiah will bring about Judgement. The Bible makes mention of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse who will bring Famine, War, Destruction and Death to the land. With all of that happening right now, it’s not hard to see why people thing the end is near.

It is not hard to dig through all the information online. Just one search on Google or Yahoo will bring thousands of sites to you. The hard thing is deciding which one is true and which one is just made up.

You have to be warned that there are a lot of people who are capitalizing on other people’s fear of the year 2012. Unscrupulous sites are selling a lot of bad misinformation and even t-shirts just to make money out of gullible folks. Remember to check your facts first and if it feels like a scam then it probably is a scam!

There is genuine concern about the coming year because of the Mayan calendar and its end, but that doesn’t mean that we should abandon reason and hope. Remember this prophecy swings both ways (meaning it could be the end but it could also mean a great new beginning) and no one knows what the real outcome will be until we’re there.

We’ve compiled a list of things we know for sure about December 2012 and we’re inviting you to learn more about it. Click here and you will receive a free video that reveals the truth about 2012. Don’t wait until it’s too late, 2012 is sooner than you think.

The Mayan Calendar 2012 – Does Is Really Predict The End Of The World As We Know It?

Will the world end in December 2012? If you believe in the people who interpret the Mayan calendar as a prophecy, then the answer would be yes. There is just one thing that people need to know. The Mayan predictions do not actually say that the world will end in December 2012. What it says is that there will be a major transformation, a shift in the way things are on our planet. There are people who are saying that it is all metaphorical while there are some who are claiming that a literal change will happen to the earth. So what can we expect from in December 2012 if the Mayan calendar was talking about a literal shift? Everything that the movie 2012 depicted and more. Why should we even give importance to the Mayans? What qualifies them to make such a prediction? If you must know, the Mayan civilization is one of the greatest that ever existed. They were great thinkers who made great discoveries about the nature of the earth and the universe. They were scientists and philosophers who loved knowledge and who sought the truth with passion. This is the reason why the Mayans and their accomplishments matter. And this is also the reason why some scholars believe that the Mayan predictions should not be ignored.

It is really hard to say whether there will be a major catastrophic event in December 2012. But as many people are saying, better safe and ready than sorry. We should always be prepared for disasters such as earthquakes, storms and flooding.

Definitive Doomsday link to Mayan prophecy found during expedition to date some of the Stonehenge carvings using Carbon Dating. Some visible to the naked eye and some very worn, requiring laser scanning to enhance their images. The Mayan calander, the Sumerians, and Stonehenge, among others, all predict the End of Days, or Doomsday on December 21, 2021. They all date back to a specific point in time. Stonehenge has been dated back to having been built 3100 BC, The Mayan Calander has been dated back to 3100 BC, and the Sumerian written language has been dated as first appearing in the year 3100 BC. Now all three support the end on December 21, 2012 December 21, 2012 represents the date of the end of the original use of Stonehenge as a timing device. The exact date of the last Winter solstice that will reflect light into stonehenge. One more piece to the doomsday puzzle has been presented with scientific based evidence. Whether the world is doomed to come to an end or not, I do not have the answer, but one thing is for certain, something is going to happen. The Stonehenge connection to the Maya Civilization and Sumerians is too strong to ignore. Stonehenge is a sophisticated astronomical observatory, which can predict with pinpoint accuracy, the alignments of the stars as well as solar and lunar eclipses. The recent archeological findings of Sumerian numerals carved into the stones and Radio Carbon dated to 3100 BC are a definitive link to both the Sumerians as well as the

Why the Mayan calendar is significant in the 2012 mystery

Why the Mayan calendar is significant in the 2012 mystery

There is the 260-day ritual calendar called the Tzolk’in. The solar calendar is 365 days and is called the Haab. There is the Long Count of 5125.36 years. The date that concerns most of us today is the December 21, 2012 date – it is the last date provided by the Mayan calendar and is the last day of the Long Count. To many, it is alarming to see the end of a very detailed calendar – they ask whether the end of the calendar at 2012 means the end of the world in disaster of apocalyptic proportions. Think of the end of the world in the traditional volcano, earthquake, war, famine sense. The Mayans spoke of the global disaster brought up by sunspot flares that could reverse the geomagnetic polarity of the world on the 2012 date.

Our society is fragile – we depend on our electromagnetic instruments, on our infrastructure, on our cars. Even in the wake of hurricanes and tornadoes and volcanoes in the past, we feel secure on our Earth’s surface. But our world is overdue for any number of catastrophes – imagine all the possibilities. The Yellowstone caldera is rumbling and is overdue to blow, which can destroy an entire half of the United States and fill the atmosphere with ash and cause the equivalent of a nuclear winter. The geomagnetic polarity is overdue to switch – even if all that changes is electromagnetic direction, planes and boats and other instruments are calibrated for geomagnetic north. A geomagnetic reversal caused by a solar flare on 2012 could cause satellites and cellular phones to malfunction. It is also theorized that the reversal could cause the earth’s crust to experience upheaval, leading to record volcanic and earthquake activity, triggering tsunamis and already delicate volcanic tensions to release.

Considering how specific the Mayan calendar is, and how sophisticated in comparison to other calendars throughout human civilization, it is understandable why many people are panicking when they think of the rapidly approaching December 21, 2012, date. The 2012 date is not just the end of the three calendar cycles, it’s also the end of a longer 26000 year calendar – the end of everything as we know it. There is a possibility that the end of everything as we know it does not preclude the beginning of something knew after terrible birth pangs. The end of cycles was cause for celebration to the Mayan civilization, and humans and their ancestors have experienced the end of cycles before. While 2012 may seem like a year to fear, we should treat it with more wariness than panic. Instead of destruction, we may be able to experience creation for a new cycle, a new age after December 21, 2012.

Gordon Leon a Survivalist, Futurist & Author stumbled across the 2012 Planet X phenomenon in 2007 while researching abnormal weather patterns around the globe, after much investigation he found the majority of the indigenous people and ancient prophecies such as the Mayans, Hopi Indians, Nostradamus, the Bible, all reaching the same conclusion.
There will be significant earth and climate changes that will affect us all; what was most disturbing to Gordon was the fact that nobody had come up with a plausible solution to these problems, being an accomplished survivalist and futurist he decided to write an engaging two part book on how to survive the coming disasters of 2012.
